Canno't connect my FTP and download the PhpAlbum

Hey, i can't connect my FTP but i can connect it from some others clients, but not yours.. Please help me you phpalbum is exactley that i need!

Hello, probably your ftp server supports only ftps ( secure ) connections , which is not the case in the wizard. Or there is some problem with passive mode. For this time you will have to install it manually. If you want i can do it for you just send me your ftp login info and desired location where to install it. But of cours you can try to do it yourself, if you are familiar with ftp clients it should not be a big problem.

I see now, you are using
I see now, you are using DynDNS for accessing probably your own machine at home or work. Your address points at this point to the IP 83.233.115.20 and it doesn't work, no ping no ftp nothing. You are probably behind some firewall or your IP has been changed and not actualized on DynDNS server ... and i see you are using 21 port so no secure FTP server. Install wizard should work. If it takes to long and after that comes error that he can not connect, than this is really this problem. You will have to check your configuration to be accessible from outside.

I tried it yesterday several times but no ping no ftp possible. Now is even the domain down. Sorry i could not help you. The problem is may be that i am not checking this page every minute so i can not try it right when you write it here. Some times i am also sleeping (in europe) so it can happen i am many hours off line...
And i am not using MSN i have an yahoo account but there it is even worse with time spending on it as here on the page .. What you can do send me an email with your estimation how long will be your server up and i know then if i am in timline or not :)
And one more suggestion: Do you know som online scanner like this:
PortScan
they scan your ports if they are open. First ensure that your port 21 is open for connections from internet. If you don't , no one can connect to your ftp server from outside ...
ftp issues
Hello. I was able to use your automatic installer to install the photo album, but I can't connect to ftp from inside the album setup. Will send username/password by mail in case you need them. Thanks.
Update: Got it figured out (thanks Patrik). Fault was the internal ftp client didn't like my hosting server. Problem solved using my own ftp client for uploads.
problem with ftp
hi, i have the same problem with ftp conection from ur site, i can t see the photo administrator in setup.I understand that it is not so necessary, but also the pictures and logos don t show, please take a look at http://scoalapi.vaslui.net/album/main.php . i can see the picture just in the original mode. FTP Up-Loading Config
I've been finding the answers to my questions without asking but I have not found the answer to making the config correction so I can setup file uploading. I know I can fix it if I know where to look and guessing is getting me nowhere. Our sutuation is that we have almost 50 people who will have access to this uploading and I don't want to setup indevidual ftp accounts. When I saw that there was up-loading built into your excelent photo album I made the decission that this is what we would use.

This is quite old version and it does not have user managament at all. So every person which want to upload the picutres has to have setup password for your album, and then ftp password.
There are two things you have to setup, ftp-server and ftp-photo-path. Ftp server usually is localhost. an ftp-photo-path is the path to your photo directory for example /phpAlbum/photos/
This two settinhs are in Main setup section.
After this you have to login in photos administrator with your ftp login/password.
Actually all the uploading of photos is done via php-ftp library.
